Long before their quest began, Alethrion, a legendary hero, amassed riches through battling monsters, crossing paths with the rootless backpacker, Amerath. It was she who crafted the very map that guided Vito and Wilhelm. Alethrion’s final confrontation with a fearsome demon called Greed, resulted in its imprisonment within a magical chest.

Years later, the chest’s seal was broken by the vengeful Tira, triggering a chain of events that claimed the life of young hero Ken and saw the demon seizing control of Mik. United by a common foe, Wilhelm and Tira now strive to contain the demon’s influence. Will Mik accept the dark gifts from the demon or keep it at bay?
